We did an exhaustive search (6 quotes) to find the right company to take our backyard (modest size) that we essentially hadn’t used in several years and turn it into our dream paradise. Our first encounter was with Jerry Cook, Cutting Edge’s design consultant. He came in with a design (see pics) and cost that we couldn’t resist. He also stayed with us for the full week of work that was required. We finalized the contract with Tex Mabalon, the owner, who came by most days and was only a text away. The work crew led by Marvin was hard working, skilled and detail oriented. If there were issues along the way, and there were few, Tex and team were responsive and quick to address them. Just a note on what we had done: 1. Reconstructed our back porch and walkway to backyard 2. An area for a pergola 3. An area for a hot tub 4. An area for a fire pit 5. A walkway connecting them all Not only did we absolutely love the end result, but we feel like we got our full money’s worth. We cannot say enough good things about the entire Cutting Edge Pavers & Outdoors Living. In short they were fantastic and we recommend them highly and with NO reservations.
