I highly recommend Sod Guy. A guy by the name of Jack helped me out initially with estimating. Price was very reasonable. He even came to look at the installed grass a week or two after laid down. The sod delivery was executed very professionally. Three weeks pre-cut, my lawn was 6+ inches tall. I am very impressed!

I used The Sod Guy for a full tear out, soil prep, and installation of sod in the backyard of our new house that was totally overrun by weeds. We're almost 3 weeks post-install and it looks fabulous! I've already had to mow once because it grew so much, even though they said it prob wouldn't grow enough until 3 weeks. Before and after pics are here. We had two pallets of sod delivered to our place. The delivery driver was friendly and and answered all of my care and maintenance questions. The sod was easy to install and looks great in my backyard. They offer a pallet return rebate, which is nice, but their location was pretty far from my place so I don't know if it was worth the return. Google maps gets you there pretty good, keep an eye out for the signage on the side of the road.
